We Are an In-Shop RV Repair Facility, Not a Mobile Service
No, McBride's does not offer mobile RV repair or house calls. We do not send technicians to homes, campgrounds, or storage lots. Every repair we do happens at our shop at 13788 Oaks Ave in Chino, and that is a deliberate decision about what kind of work we do rather than a limitation we are apologizing for. If you found us searching for a mobile technician, the rest of this page explains what actually needs a bay, so you can decide whether your job is one of them.
Do you offer mobile RV repair or house calls?
No. McBride's is an in-shop repair facility at 13788 Oaks Ave in Chino, CA. We do not offer mobile service, on-site service, or house calls of any kind, and we do not travel to campgrounds or storage lots. Bring the coach to us and the entire repair happens under one roof.
Why is McBride's in-shop only?
Because the work we specialize in cannot be done anywhere else. A 40-foot enclosed paint booth is a building, not a truck. Structural fiberglass and collision repair needs the coach immobilized, lit, and supported. A subfloor rebuild means pulling furniture, cabinetry or a slide room and drying the structure properly, which takes days and a controlled space. A generator diagnosis means putting the set under real load with test equipment. A roof replacement means the coach under cover with the air conditioners off and every penetration reset. None of that fits in a service van, and a shop that tries to do it in your driveway is doing a different, smaller job and calling it the same thing.
There is a second reason, and it is about the estimate rather than the tools. We show you the damage before we quote it. Opening up a wall, a floor or a panel to find out what is actually there is how we avoid quoting a number that grows later. That inspection is a shop process.

What kind of RV work genuinely needs a shop?
If your job is on this list, a mobile visit is not going to finish it:
Collision repair, fiberglass repair and any structural body work
Full body paint, partial paint, and any refinishing that has to cure properly
Subfloor and delamination repair, and the water damage tracing that goes with it
Roof replacement, and recoating that needs a genuinely dry, prepped surface
Slide-out removal, rebuild, and anything where the room has to come out
Generator diagnosis and repair that requires load testing
Chassis service, brakes, and suspension work needing a lift
Any job where the damage has to be opened up before it can honestly be quoted
That list is most of what we do. It is also, not coincidentally, the work that is hardest to find anywhere in the Inland Empire, which is why owners drive to Chino from across the region.

My RV is not drivable. What are my options?
Coaches arrive here on transport regularly, and a non-drivable RV is not an obstacle to getting the work done. Arrange transport to 13788 Oaks Ave in Chino and we take it from there. If the coach is drivable but you are not sure it will make the trip, call us and describe what it is doing before you set off.
How does drop-off work?
You get a date and a time for the drop-off and a date and a time for the pickup. That sounds basic and it is the thing our customers mention most often, because it is not how RV service usually goes. We schedule the coach in rather than parking it in a queue. Call (909) 627-7566 or use our contact page to book, tell us what the coach is doing, and bring it in at the time we agree.
Where are you, and how far do people come?
We are at 13788 Oaks Ave in Chino, CA 91710, near the meeting point of the 60 and the 71. Owners bring coaches to us from Chino Hills, Diamond Bar, Montclair, Upland, Ontario and Rancho Cucamonga, off the 91 and the 15 from Corona, Norco, Eastvale and Riverside, and down the 57 and the 91 from Yorba Linda, Brea and North Orange County. For the work above, the drive is the short part of the job.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you do mobile RV repair?
No. We are in-shop only, at 13788 Oaks Ave in Chino, CA. We do not send technicians out.
Will you come to my storage lot or campground?
No. We do not perform work at storage lots, campgrounds, homes or any other off-site location.
Can you recommend a mobile RV technician?
No, we do not make referrals for mobile work. What we can tell you is which jobs are worth bringing in, and the list above is a fair guide.
Can you diagnose it over the phone so I know if it needs the shop?
We can usually tell you from a description whether a job is a shop job, and we are happy to have that conversation before you drive out. We will not quote a repair from a phone call, because the honest number depends on what we find when we open it up.
Do you charge to look at it?
Estimates are free. Bring the coach in and we will walk it with you.
What are your hours?
We are open Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM, and closed weekends. Call (909) 627-7566.
