Travel Trailer Repair in Montclair That Actually Solves the Whole Problem

For travel trailer owners in Montclair, your rig is more than just a vehicle - it’s your ticket to the San Bernardino Mountains, weekends at San Antonio Regional Park, or long-awaited trips starting from the local parks off Central Avenue and Holt Boulevard.

When something goes wrong, whether it’s a jammed slide-out, a sudden leak, or an unexpected fender bender, you don't just need a quick fix. You need a team you can trust to get the job done right the first time, without the runaround. That is exactly where McBride’s RV Service & Paint steps in.

WHY SMALL ISSUES OFTEN SNOWBALL

Why Small Issues Often Snowball

Travel trailers are more complex than they appear. What seems like a minor annoyance can often be a symptom of a much larger problem:

  • Soft Floors: Often a sign of hidden water damage deep within the structure.
  • Swaying While Towing: Frequently linked to frame alignment or suspension issues.
  • Cosmetic Dents: Can compromise seals, leading to rot and lowering your resale value.

The real frustration for Montclair RV owners is that most shops only handle one piece of the puzzle. You end up playing project manager between mechanical shops, body shops, and insurance adjusters. At McBride's, we handle everything under one roof.

Advanced Facilities for Lasting Results

We’ve invested in technology that most local shops simply don't have, including:

A Full-Size Alignment Rack:

A rarity in California, essential for safe towing.

40-Foot Paint Booth:

Featuring advanced color-matching to keep your trailer looking factory-new.

Specialized Equipment:

Sized specifically for full-length travel trailers, not just cars or small trucks.

A Comprehensive Solution Worth the Drive

A Comprehensive Solution Worth the Drive

Since 1967, McBride’s has been the go-to destination for Southern California RV families. We aren’t a "drop it and hope" shop; we are a full-service facility designed to handle structural, mechanical, electrical, and cosmetic repairs simultaneously.

The McBride’s Difference:

  • No Finger-Pointing: Because we do it all, there's no shifting of blame between different contractors.
  • Faster Turnarounds: Integrated repairs mean your trailer spends less time sitting and more time on the road.
  • Expert Certifications: Our technicians hold credentials from RVIA, Cummins Onan, Dometic, and PPG, ensuring manufacturer-level quality.

Expert Handling of Insurance Claims

One of the main reasons customers travel from Montclair to our facility is our expertise in navigating insurance. Dealing with claims can be a nightmare, but we work directly with major providers like Progressive, AAA, GEICO, and National General.

We handle the documentation, the adjusters, and the approvals. Our priority is the quality of your repair and your safety, ensuring that no corners are cut just to save an insurer a few dollars.

Labor rate is kinda high so I’d only use them for the stuff I couldn’t do myself. Overall good experience. Seemed like it was there longer than needed could’ve been waiting on parts not sure. I’d use them again. - 6/17/2026

I took my 1997 renovation project Fleetwood PaceArrow in for major mechanical service. I also paid for an hour of inspection on my failed slide out and got a great quote on the labor and parts for when I'm ready to invest in that repair next. I was a little weary initially that the service price on the phone when I called was told to me as around $500 range and then in person at drop-off the price was actually around $900 for the major service. But the girl who took my appointment over the phone had warned me that she was new and wasn't certain of the prices on anything. The service was great and I'm glad I chose to continue despite the wide price difference to what I was anticipating. Mike and Danny are stellar, and I know the place I'll be bringing my renovation back to with any repair needs in the future that I can't handle myself. The quotes for the slide out, and suggested drive train work, were both also very reasonable. - 6/04/2026

We had invisible brakes installed on our jeep to tow behind our coach. They worked extra hard to finish the job so we could take the jeep on vacation. Thank you McBride's RV. - 3/22/2026

Took my toy hauler for an estimate to fix slide, generator and transfer fuel pump. Parts needed to be ordered and since I had a trip coming up I picked up my trailer. When parts arrived took it back and it was completed in 2 days. Their staff is very friendly. What I really like about them is their scheduling. Gave me a date and time for both drop offs and pick ups. I was very satisfied with their work and highly recommend them. - 3/12/2026
